I'm a Data Center Field Technician at Akamai in the Seattle area (Renton-born-and-routed), working compute, storage and network gear under a 24/7 on-call SLA. Before that I ran Green River College's PC Repair Shop and worked as a SOC analyst for Washington public-sector networks. I hold CompTIA Security+ and I'm working on NVIDIA's AI Infrastructure & Operations cert. Outside work I help Washington high schools get donated Cisco gear running for their networking labs.

How I reach my VM server and NAS from anywhere with Tailscale, and how I turned a Raspberry Pi 4 into an exit node that sends everything out through a random Mullvad server. Featuring: an nftables kill switch, a routing bug that ate way too much of my time, and a little web page so I can switch servers from my phone.
